Body Conditioning
Conditioning is defined as a state of being physically fit so your body can safely perform the physical demands with least risk and possibility of injury. For dancers, body conditioning is all about working to tone and sculpt their muscles apart from, and over and above the dance movements. With a combination of stretches like pilates and yoga, muscle toning or building exercises like weight training or gym, as well as workouts abdominal(core) strength, glutes, and hamstrings. Body conditioning aims to improve technique and overall presence while performance and it's so essential that many dancers end up working on it even after they have stopped dancing. The result is more lift without tension, deeper plies, higher jumps with less effort, tighter turns, and improved extension and turnout.

Contemporary
Contemporary dance is a form of dance which focuses on the serious expression of inner emotions, using a free-flowing, interpretive style, rather than following the rigid rules characteristic of many dance disciplines. Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of 20th century modern dance, including floorwork and turn-in of the legs. Challenging yet invigorating, this cumulative series gives dancers an introduction to contemporary choreography and routines combining the fundamental techniques of contemporary and other genres of dance such as jazz, lyrical, ballet and more. The class will be paced and specifically tailored to match the needs and requirements of those participating.

Popping
Popping is one of the more technical styles, that takes a lot of training to develop the understanding and the muscle control. Because of popping's cultural Boogaloo roots, popping developed before Hiphop's cultural movement and helped influence the tradition of styles of hip hop dancing. Popping and related styles such as waving and tutting have also been incorporated into the electronica dance scene to some extent, influencing new styles such as liquid and digits and turfing.
